HandScapes ~ Boho Style Hand Portraits
I’m happy to announce my workshop, HandScapes ~ Boho-Style Hand Portraits, will be starting in August at Painted Turtle Studio in Mancos, CO. I’ll be teaching three workshops, two for teens and one for women. Here’s the skinny on the workshop.
Join Lille Diane, creator of ‘Art Feeds My Soul Workshops’ at Painted Turtle Studio to learn how to make a two-sided Boho style portrait of your hands called HandScapes. Making a HandScape is a relaxing, gratifying project using watercolor, acrylic paint, and ink. No drawing experience needed. If you can draw a line or a circle you can rock this project! This class will awaken the artist within to come out and play!
HandScapes make great wall art, word of the year prompts or garlands you’ll proudly display. Bring a friend and trade HandScapes like a friendship bracelet. Bring yourself because art feeds your soul.
If you’ve been feeling the nudge to explore your creative side or have missed your artsy-self because life got in the way, this workshop is for you! Art and your adventurous spirit belong together!

HandScapes Teen Workshop (ages 15-18) Thursday, August 10, 1 pm – 5 pm
That’s not all! Starting in September at Painted Turtle Studio I’ll be teaching my workshop, ‘Make a Book About You’— an introductory art journal class designed by Lille Diane, creator of Art Feeds Your Soul Workshops, to teach you how to make a creative, one of a kind journal using memorabilia, items considered trash, magazines, photos, paint, ink and your wild imagination. Create a mixed media book all about you, your family, friends, your life, your goals, and aspirations or a gratitude book. Learn techniques, tips, how to use products and tools, how to create vibrant, colorful backgrounds; make fabulous layouts and a textured book cover. All skill levels welcome. Art & your adventurous spirit belong together! This is a six-week workshop from September 3 – October 10, 2017. Details coming soon!
